These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Auromine Retail POS — the web app at retailpos.auromine.com and the Android app (the "Software") — provided by Auromine Retail POS Pvt Ltd, Chennai, India ("Auromine", "we", "us"). By registering for, paying for or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Software
Auromine Retail POS is billing, inventory, purchase and accounting software for retail and service businesses — supermarkets, apparel, footwear, boutiques, general stores and similar shops. It runs as a web app and an installable app, keeps working without internet, supports GST and VAT, and is available in many languages and currencies.

Add-ons: extra counter ₹499 a year; data migration ₹2,999 one-time; guided setup ₹499 one-time. Multi-store groups and chains (Enterprise / Custom ERP) are quoted separately. Current prices and what each plan includes are always at auromine.com/pricing; prices outside India may differ. We take no commission on your sales.
3. Licence
- The Software is licensed, not sold. A plan gives one shop a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software for the paid term (one year from activation).
- A counter is a device, not a person: any number of staff can share one counter with their own logins, but each phone, tablet or computer signed in at the same time uses a counter. The number of counters is set by your plan and any extra counters you buy.
- You may not resell, sublicense or share one account between different businesses, reverse-engineer the Software, or try to get around its plan limits.
4. Free trial and the Free plan
New shops get a 21-day free trial with every feature and no payment details. When the trial ends the account moves to the Free plan automatically. The Free plan is free forever, within its limits (1 counter, 30 sales invoices a month, 200 items). Features of the paid plans — such as estimates and quotations, barcode label and thermal printing, batches and expiry, size and colour variants, the accounts pack and advanced reports — need a paid plan. Over a free limit you are told, never locked out of what you have already made.
5. Payment, renewal and upgrades
- You can pay inside the app ("Pay now") or through a payment link from us. Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. GST is added where it applies.
- Your plan switches on automatically once the payment is confirmed, on every counter, at its next check.
- Plans are for one year. We remind you before expiry; we do not charge you automatically.
- Upgrades apply immediately and are adjusted for what you have already paid for the current term.
6. If you do not renew
When a paid plan lapses, the account moves to the Free plan. Every bill, item and report you made stays readable, printable and exportable — we never hold your data hostage. Renew any time to unlock everything again.
7. Your data, backup and sync
- Your business data belongs to you. It is stored on your device, and backups go to a file on your computer and your own Google Drive, and on paid plans and the free trial an automatic cloud copy (latest 3) is also kept for your shop alone; on paid plans with more than one counter you can switch on Cloud Sync between counters. How we handle data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for your invoices and returns meeting the tax laws (GST, VAT, etc.) that apply to your business.
- Keep your devices secure and give staff their own logins. Clearing a browser or resetting a device that is not signed in can lose data that was never backed up — please keep the backup switched on.
8. Support and updates
Paid plans include updates and support by WhatsApp, phone and email during business hours (IST); the 5 Users plan gets priority support. The Free plan includes updates and help through our guides and WhatsApp as time allows. We may add, change or remove features in updates, while keeping core billing working.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use the Software for unlawful purposes, to issue false or fraudulent invoices, or to break any law. We may suspend an account used in breach of these Terms; for a non-fraudulent breach we may refund the unused part of the term at our discretion.
10. Intellectual property
The Software, its code, design and the Auromine name and logo belong to Auromine Retail POS Pvt Ltd. Your business data remains yours.
11. Warranty and liability
- The Software is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable and accurate, but do not promise it will be free of errors or interruptions.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for data lost where no backup was kept, or for tax penalties arising from your own compliance obligations.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will tell registered users about material changes by email or WhatsApp; continuing to use the Software after they take effect means you accept them. The latest version is always at retailpos.auromine.com/terms.html.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
